Help Wanted!! Must be breathing and able to remain upright. No experience required. The holidays are knocking on our door and the teams that make Epikos the warm home we can invite guests in for comfort and joy need some help. This can be a one-time gift of your time or you can make it a regular event. What to expect: 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm you could assist any of the teams in setting up the decorations, setting up the chairs with bibles and pens, helping pop the popcorn and drinks, setting up the children’s areas, putting out the information at guests services, moving things from the trailer into the building, holding tape for someone taping things, or anything else that is made easier with an extra set of hands. No decision making required, just a willingness to help. 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm you could assist any of the teams of doing any of the above in reverse; taking down decorations, stacking chairs and boxing up Bibles and pens, sweeping, taking out the garbage, returning guests services to the boxes, moving things from the building to the trailer, removing tape from taped things, or anything else that is made easier with an extra set of hands. Welcome the Larson Family! We heard Mike Larson give a fantastic sermon last weekend and after careful consideration and reflection on the positive feedback we received, the Epikos staff extended an offer for Pastor Mike, his wife Daniela, and his two boys to join our Epikos family. They have accepted and will be joining us soon! The details are still being worked out and there are many things to be done for their move from Kansas City. Please join us in prayer that God clears a path of ease and joyful excitement as they move to Vancouver! As well as prayers of gratitude for our newest Epikosians!
