Operation Smile is a non-profit organization that repairs childhood facial deformities. Proceeds from the recycling of cans and bottles at Cafe Ever After benefit this project.

We need volunteers to help with the recycling redemption process. Here is what it entails:

1. After the Weekend Experience, collect the bottles and cans from the two recycling bins in the cafe.
2. Take the recycling to a supermarket in Oregon that has a bank of machines outside for recycling redemption. Insert each bottle and can individually. When you are done, the machine will issue a receipt.
3. Take the receipt to customer service or a cashier inside the store to redeem it for cash.
4. Bring the money to a weekend experience and turn it in at the Info Center or put it in a giving envelope and mark it "Operation Smile".
